Wilmer Santiesteban Garcia
is a Foreign Educated/Graduated Physician (FEP) from Cuba with greater than 20 years’ experience in Primary Care. In 1998, he completed his education in General Medicine in Cuba and practiced Primary Care there until 2010, when he immigrated to the USA. In 2015, Wilmer completed the BSN/MSN program for FEP at Florida International University (FIU) and obtained his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certification from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the FNP license from the Florida Board of Nursing.
During these 7 years as an FNP, Wilmer has gained vast experience/knowledge as a practitioner in primary/managed care as an employee of Private Practices and HMO Clinics located in the Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach areas. He continues to provide high quality, patient-centered health care services at Comprehensive Medical & Research Center (CMRC) his own clinic, conveniently located in Plantation, Florida. His main goal is to continue to provide his clinic patients with the necessary Primary Care, by implementing a strong focus on Preventive Medicine.
